| Terry: Ronaldo Is The Best In The World |
John Terry has said Cristiano Ronaldo as the best player in the world. Terry claimed the senior award in 2005, and he believes that Ronaldo is currently pushing ahead of United team-mates Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes, as well as Cesc Fabregas, Steven Gerrard and his own Chelsea colleague Didier Drogba who have also made the shortlist. "I could watch United just to watch him. He does things no-one else in the world is doing at the minute," he said. "He's the best in the world. At his best, not many people can stop him." "It was understandable after knocking us out of the World Cup, but he has done all his talking on the pitch," said Terry. "I could watch Manchester United just to watch him. He does things with the ball that you don't see anyone else in the world doing the at the minute. He is the best in the world at the moment."When he is at his best I don't think there are many people who can stop him. When he is running at you like he does with his skills and tricks, you don't know which way he is going."If Ronaldo claims the prestigious award on Sunday, he will become the fourth United player to do so since the turn of the Millennium, joining Teddy Sheringham, Roy Keane and Ruud van Nistelrooy.
